Cookie Policy
Your choices about optional analytics on the Enkore website.
Updated 4 October 2026
Your choice
Google Analytics 4 is available only with your explicit permission. On your first visit, “Reject analytics” and “Allow analytics” are presented equally. Neither option is preselected. The website and email signup work whichever you choose.
Closing the panel, pressing Escape, scrolling, or using the website does not grant consent. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice. Rejecting after accepting stops measurement, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload a previously loaded Google tag. It cannot remove data already received by Google.
Preference cookie
enkore_consent is a first-party functional cookie that remembers your allow/reject choice and its version for up to 180 days. It is written only when you explicitly choose. It is not a unique visitor identifier and contains no signup details. It uses Path=/, SameSite=Lax, and Secure on HTTPS. Our 180-day duration is a design choice, not a legally mandated period.
The older enkore_cookie_notice dismissal preference, if still present, grants no tracking permission and is ignored by the new controls. Blocking cookies may cause the choice panel to reappear on later pages. The website remains usable.
Google Analytics cookies — only after consent
Once analytics is configured and you allow it, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> cookies to distinguish visits and maintain session information. This integration requests a maximum lifetime of 180 days without automatic expiry renewal. Browser restrictions may shorten their lifetime. Actual production cookies should be checked after activation.
No Google script, page view, or cookieless measurement ping is sent by this integration before analytics opt-in. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied. No advertising or remarketing pixel is installed. Fonts and images are served locally.
Email signup
The signup form sends your name and email through our server to EmailOctopus for email updates and confirmation. It does not put these values in cookies or browser storage. A consented analytics event may record that a confirmation request was accepted, without the name or email. Email subscription consent and analytics consent are separate. See the Privacy Policy.
Browser settings and hosting
You can inspect and delete cookies through your browser's privacy controls. Ordinary caching of images, fonts, and scripts is different from tracking. This policy describes the website code; the operator must also verify any cookies added by hosting or security services before finalizing it.
Future advertising
Advertising tracking is not active. Before adding it, we will describe the new purposes and providers, introduce a separate advertising choice, and request fresh consent. Existing analytics consent must not be repurposed for advertising.
